Terms of Service
Using ShiftBee — the app and the website — is subject to these terms. Using the service constitutes acceptance of them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What the service is
ShiftBee helps businesses manage staff, availability, and shifts, and build a weekly schedule with an automated scheduling engine. The service is currently offered as a free pilot; paid plans may be introduced later with advance notice.
Accounts and user responsibility
- Sign-in is by phone-number verification. You are responsible for your device and your access.
- A manager who enters employee data confirms they have the authority and any required consent to enter and process it in the service, under applicable law.
- Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to access another business's data, or interfere with the system's operation.
Automated schedules — the employer's responsibility
The scheduling engine proposes a schedule based on the rules and availability entered, including helper checks (such as rest between shifts). The proposal requires the manager's review and approval. Full responsibility for compliance with labor law, collective agreements, and employment contracts rests with the employer alone — ShiftBee is a tool, not legal advice.
Availability and limited liability
The service is provided AS-IS and AS-AVAILABLE, and during the pilot period there may be bugs, changes, and outages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damage arising from use of the service or reliance on a schedule produced with it. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure of the service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including failures at infrastructure and cloud providers, network outages, or other external events.
Intellectual property
All rights in the software, design, and the ShiftBee brand are reserved to us. The data you enter remains yours; you grant us a limited license to use it only to operate the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time inside the app. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, with as much notice as reasonably possible in the circumstances.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. A material change will be signalled by updating the date above and a notice in the app, and continued use afterwards constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Israeli law, and the competent courts of the Tel Aviv-Yafo district have exclusive jurisdiction.
